The Network for Endangered Sea Turtles (N.E.S.T.) is an all-volunteer organization permitted by the NC Wildlife Resources Commission to respond to sea turtle activity from Oregon Inlet to the NC/VA state line. The following application is for volunteers interested in volunteering with the program.  Upon completion of the application your email will be added to our list-serve from which you will hear about volunteer trainings and opportunities.  We look forward to working with you!

Please note, due to the nature of our state permit requirements, volunteers must be able to attend training classes for permit-associated activities.  These requirements make it challenging for volunteers who will be in the region for only short periods of time.  Most activities are best suited for volunteers who will be in the area for longer than a month.
